Sometimes its best to “match the hatch” the best way to do that is to create a hook bait that is almost identical to the bottom baits, this is why we offer our Food bait Popups that are rolled with matching base mix and cork dust blend,  with an identical liquid attractor package mimicking the bottom baits 100%, it’s the same as the bottom bait except it’s a floating hook bait!
